Am I eligible to join?
Treatment through Clover Meds may be appropriate if you:
- Are 18–75 years old
- Have a baseline BMI (before any weight-loss treatment) of 30 or higher, or 25 or higher with at least one previously diagnosed weight-related condition:
- Type 2 diabetes (controlled)
- prediabetes or insulin resistance
- high blood pressure
- high cholesterol or triglycerides
- sleep apnea
- heart disease, including coronary artery disease or prior stroke
- fatty liver disease (NAFLD/MASLD)
- metabolic syndrome
- PCOS
- osteoarthritis
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
You are not eligible if you have:
- an active substance use disorder
- an active eating disorder (such as anorexia or bulimia)
- type 1 diabetes
- active cancer
- bariatric surgery within the past 18 months
- active gallbladder disease
- a history of pancreatitis
- current use of insulin or sulfonylureas
- a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2)
Why compounded? Clover providers prescribe compounded medication only when they determine a compounded formulation is clinically appropriate for you, most often for patients who have had trouble tolerating FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, such as persistent nausea. Your provider reviews your medical history and documents the reason for their decision. Final eligibility is always determined by your provider.
Is anti-nausea medication included?
Anti-nausea medication is included at no charge, per Clover Provider approval.
If I’m already taking Semaglutide, can I continue with my current dose?
If you're responding well to your current dosage, your Clover Provider can continue you on it. There's no need to restart from the lowest dose again.
What if I'm not happy with my first month?
Contact our support team within 30 days of receiving your first shipment and return any unused medication within 7 days. We'll refund the cost of your first month. This applies to your first month only. On a 3-, 6- or 12-month plan, we refund the first month at your plan's monthly rate, and the remaining months are non-refundable. That's why we recommend a 1-month plan if you're new to treatment.

What is Compounded Semaglutide?
Semaglutide prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for an individual prescription. It is not the same as, and is not a generic version of, any FDA-approved drug. Strength, formulation and other factors can differ from FDA-approved drugs, so results and side effects should not be assumed to be the same. How frequently will I receive Compounded Semaglutide?
If you enroll in a month-to-month plan, your medication and supplies will be shipped monthly.
If you enroll in a multi-month plan, you'll receive a discounted 3-month supply of medication and supplies, conveniently shipped every 3 months.
When can I expect to receive my medication?
After you speak to your provider, the medication will be delivered to you within 7 business days. We'll let you know the details of the delivery process, so you can expect your prescription to arrive soon.
Can I join from anywhere in the US?
At this time, we are only able to serve patients in Florida, Illinois, Arizona and Virginia. However, we are actively working on expanding our reach to bring our program to more areas throughout the US.

Most new patients follow a gradual step-up schedule like this one. Your Clover provider adjusts your dose and pace based on how you respond. If you're transferring from another provider, your Clover Provider will determine the most appropriate dose based on your medical history, current medication use, and treatment progress.
